Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. James is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He has the Nigerian father as well as a Caucasian mother. The father of his is Nigerian while his mother is caucasian american. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015. James was first noticed after he became a Reality Star in The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The next Bachelor was James. He became his one of the first African American to play the leading role. James is the perfect candidate for the job, as he is well-rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his love interest at the close of the season. James partnered with the dancer Arnold whom was also famous at the time to participate in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th.
